Hyundai Ioniq 5 India Launch at Auto Expo 2023 January 11 - Hyundai Inoiq 5 EV Bookings Open

Hyundai plans to launch Ioniq 5 Electric Car in India at the Auto Expo on 11th January 2023. The company announced that bookings for its new flagship in India will open on 20th December 2022. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a sister model to Kia EV6 that is already started sales in India.

The Ioniq 5 has two massive 12.3-inch screens, one is an instrument cluster and the other is an infotainment system. It will get the larger 72.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. With a super fast 350 kW DC charger, the vehicle will charge from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be priced competitively as compared with Kia EV6 that comes here as a CBU. The price variations are because of the customs duty between CBU and CKD cars in India.

Internationally, Hyundai offers the Ioniq 5 with 2 battery packs which are available in rear-wheel drive configurations and AWD. The smaller battery pack is good for 383km in the test cycle, and the larger battery stretches the range to a claimed 481km. Hyundai Ioniq 5 supports superfast 800V charging.
